Legendarni britanski muzičar Kit Ričards je obradio pesmu Lu Rida “I’m Waiting For The Man” uoči objavljivanja novog tribjut albuma u čast ikone Njujorka. Pesma je jedno od Ridovih najranijih dela koje se pojavilo na debi albumu grupe The Velvet Underground iz 1967. godine “The Velvet Underground & Nico”.
Govoreći o bivšem frontmenu grupe Velvet Underground, gitarista Rolingstonsa je rekao: “Za mene, Lu se istakao. Prava stvar! Bio je važan za američku muziku i za SVU MUZIKU! Nedostaju mi on i njegov pas.”
Obrada pesme “I’m Waiting For The Man” je prva pesma koja će biti objavljena sa predstojećeg albuma “The Power of the Heart: A Tribute to Lou Reed”. Album će biti objavljen 20. aprila.
