Istaknuti članovi Akademije filmske umetnosti i nauke zvanično su odabrali najistaknutija ostvarenja iz sveta filma iz 2023. godine. Pored filma o ikoničnoj lutki i ostvarenja o ocu atomske bombe, favoriti su “Ubice cvetnog meseca” i “Jadnici”. Međutim, očekuje se da se u trku za nagrade umešaju i ostvarenja poput “The Holdovers” i “Anatomy of a Fall”.
